Rasmussen Reunion

We had a fun family reunion this weekend up in Idaho with my side of the family. Caiden was in heaven because Grandpa let him ride on the tractor, which was my Grandpa's old tractor that I rode on as a kid! We saw lots of fun cousins and relatives and played some fun games! The theme was Christmas in June so we played the game where you decorate one person to look like Rudolph and I got to be the lucky one for our team! Lots of fun!

Fathers Day

We had a great Father's Day this year with Jayson's Dad, brother Mike, and sisters Kim and Kaylynn. Everyone came to our house for a barbecue and we actually went to a park because we didn't have any outside tables. The kids played on the play ground and we ate and visited and met Mike's new girlfriend, Melissa.

Kaylynn, Kim, Melissa, and Caiden enjoying smoothies that Mike made us! Yummy!!

Dinosaur Park

We went to the Ogden Dinosaur Park with our fun neighborhood playgroup this week. caiden wasn't scared, which really made it a fun day. His favorite thing was to play at the park there, so basically I paid five dollars for him to play at the park-go figure.

LAGOON!!

Jayson is working a fun summer job at Lagoon as an EMT. We got to go on family day for only 10 bucks per person. We took Caiden and Grandma and Grandpa Wadsworth with us, but unfortunately Caiden didn't have as much fun as we hoped he would. The kids have to ride solo for most of the kids rides which was going really well until the ride started moving. He cried the whole time and was screaming, "Mommy, help me!" Talk about making me feel like a bad mom. After that (which was only the second ride) he didn't want to go on any rides. Now when we talk about Lagoon he says, "Scary goon". Maybe next year...

This is the first ride we went on and it was ok for Caiden because we were there to make it safe.

This is the one he started crying on. We thought he would be ok cause he picked a seat by the little boy, but once it started moving, he got freaked out! Poor little guy.

We convinced him that the cars were safe so he did try that one by himself! Yay!
